This last evening 27th of August the release deployment went fine and is now is over.
The version 5.4 of our PLM platform is now available.
The main new features of this release are:
A new version of the CATIA Connector has been deployed (17.1.15).
This new version includes the following changes:
- Non-unique instance names in a CATIA structure will no longer block opening.
- Due to poor data quality from SmarTeam or errors introduced during complex copy/paste actions (e.g. when copy-pasting a CATPart into a structure using the ‘Broken Link’ paste special option), some CATIA models may end up containing duplicated instance names below a node.
- Improved error messages. Several error messages that were previously unclear (or in some cases did not appear at all) have been refactored to provide clearer feedback when the error is triggered.
