On Monday 24th November, we deployed the version 5.5.3 of our PLM platform.
The main new features of this release are:
Design Verification Workflow improvement
The process of analysing structures, in relation to pre-condition checks, has been improved with several enhancements, especially when using the Check Dependencies tool to support the analysis:
- When you encounter errors in the pre-condition checks, double-click the ST number and copy/paste it into the search bar of Check Dependencies.
- Once done, the search will automatically start, and the structure path(s) leading to the ST number you are interested in will appear. For better readability, the characters you entered in the search bar are highlighted in bold. The lifecycle status is now displayed for every object in the structure as a symbol only. If you need to see the full lifecycle name, simply hover over the symbol to display it as a tooltip.
- To access the profile card of any object in the tree, simply click the dedicated button:
Design Collection precondition-check modification
Objects of lifecycle "Replaced" collected inside a Design Collection Workflow will now trigger a warning instead of an error, asking users to make sure the objects concerned are relevant:
Note: The root object of a design collection still cannot be in a "Replaced" lifecycle status.
