Q-Checker is a management system for product data quality that when operated from the early beginning in the design phase, will support cross engineering as well as model reuse in new projects and downstream. This tool allows to:

• Identify and repair critical defects before faulty features lead to additional geometrical problems;
• Anticipation and capture of requirement of all downstream applications;
• Identify common design process mistakes and inefficient practices;
• Promotes design reuse;
• Enforces internal CATIA standards;
• Checks files transferred from other CAD software in order to avoid data translation problems;
• Adjusts standards in a quick and efficient way, allowing for speedy recovery of files;
• Store model results with a check seal.

Available on all CATIA supported or unsupported PCs at CERN.
